Default Increasing Healthy Calorie Intake

I am accustomed to eating 2000 +/- calories a day, but I am losing weight and not keeping on some of the weight I would like to keep. Based on my height, weight, and activity level I need to eat approx 400-500 more calories daily to keep my weight at least at its current level and possibly allow for some gain.

I am struggling to find healthy foods to allow for this increase.

What are some healthier type foods / snacks for me to eat that would give me this boost in calories? Are there shakes or bars or any home grown concoction () that anyone out there would recommend?

Nuts my friend, Nuts....

High in calories, good amount of protien, oils are beneficial. Go to a good produce store and by them raw. Most varieties still taste good and will be healthier eaten raw. Most companies add oils and large amounts of salt as they process the roasted varieties. My favorite is a mid afternoon snack with a yogurt, raw cashews and a pear. All of which travel well and can be kept handy in work situations.
