I looked this thread up this morning, because I've been in a long battle with Bally's. I joined there some time ago, and canceled last Jan. I was told that it was taken care of by customer service, and they have still hit my bank account every month. I finally stopped it through my bank. In the fine print it says they can change anything they want to in the club, and you have to finish out the contract even though you aren't satisfied.
It's probably a good thing that their corp office is somewhere else than here. Otherwise, I would go see "Precious" the customer service manager I spoke to this morning and let her know how "precious" I think the scum hole she works for is.
