LA Fitness
Who's a member and where? I work out at the LA Fitness Sports Club in Chandler, AZ, which is a great club, in that it has redundancy of equipment, lots of amenities, and has lots of room.

I paid 2 years up front a while back and my membership will eventually be $12 a month from such deal. I love the gym, except they need a neck and forearm machine! lol

Member at one in Phoenix, actually. Might be the same one, 'cause mine fits the description - has a lot of equipment, plenty of space & everything.

I'm a member in Miramar, FL. It's less than 2 miles from home so it suits me.

I also went to LA Fitness in Peoria, Arizona. Other than the fact they didn't put racquetball courts in for some reason, it was the nicest gym I have ever been to. Redundancy in the machines so you very rarely have to wait for anything and the freeweight section is bigger than some gyms alltogether. Unfortunately had to move to Tucson for work and cancelled. Great Gym.

I'm not originally from Phoenix, so no, I'm not a Sun Devils fan. As far as having to move to Tucson, I hope to keep this move to under 6 months. I'd like to go back to Phoenix, (If not for all the hot women) I really like it there.

I agree and Tucson just sucks, we should sell it back to Mexico.

I got to LAFitness in Torrance,CA. The discription sounds the same, I like it because it has several punching bags and like you said you rarely have to wait for a machine.

I'm extremely happy to say that I am now out of Tucson. I joined a small gym there, what I thought was short term. It turns out that the jackass that runs the place signed me up for a one year membership after I made it clear to him that I only wanted the three month (even though it costs a little more a month) because I knew I would not be in Tucson long. He explained to me that if I moved more than 25 miles from the place I could get out of my contract no problem. That sounded great because I knew I was going to San Diego in a month or so. The idiot doesn't tell you that you have to pay 1/3 of your contract when you leave! If any of you who read this are near Tucson, I suggest staying away from Desert Sports and Fitness. Luckily for me out here in San Diego there is an LA Fitness 3 miles from home. I walked in there and asked if I could start my membership up again as was lifting weights 20 minutes later having not signed any contract at all paying only $25 a month on a month to month basis. LA Fitness is a great place to join!
