Lifestyles Family Fitness (Tampa Bay FL area)
I've been going to lifestyles for about 3 years off and on now. The gyms are all pretty nice. Anyone else work out here?

I haven't been to Lifestyles, but I sometimes need to spend a decent chunk of time in Tampa. I always go to Xtreme fitness (I know - it's a crap name) on South Howard. A pretty good area for free weights, a boxing ring, and some crazy hot girls. So I'm a fan.

that's cool. is it an expensive club? i live on the outskirts of tampa so south tampa would be a far drive for me.. i like that lifestyles has a couple gyms around the area.

They advertise monthly rates at $45 (no contract), which seems pretty low to my NYC-addled mind, though their longer-term contracts bring the per-month down. I'm actually in Tampa right now, and I think that they're charging me a bit less than $40 (tax included) or so for the month that I'm here (probably because I'm so damn pretty).

I go to bally's on north dale mabry, good machines, clean, lotta space. My friends tell me that after 6pm there tends to be alot of chics in there, I don't know cause i always go in the late afternoon. I've always wanted to try out xtreme, i've heard it's packed with hotties. I'm assuming it's strippers, and local south tampa yuppie type women, which is fine with me. there is a lifestyles like 5 minutes from my house, i've thought about joining it aswell, just so i have a place to go do my early morning cardio and not have to drive too far.

i workout at the lifestyles on dalemabry in north dale next to gaither high school. its like a 5 or 10 minute drive for me there depending on traffic. i like it, the facilities are nice plenty of equipment. the only thing i dont like...is how damned expensive it is to workout there. i think i dropped like 145 dollars just to enroll and i pay 40 bucks a month for the regular membership...i'm thinking about canceling my membership when school starts back up and just workout at the usf gym for free.
