Arm cramps
After I do an arm workout my biceps and upper forearm will cramp up on me if I flex my arm. I have tried drinking more water, eating bananas, taking a cal-mag supplement, and drinking electrolyte water instead of plain water. This is been happening for months and it is really starting to bug me. I have had blood tests done and all my levels are in the normal range.
I was working arms alone totaling 10-11 sets for bis and the same for tris. Today I switched and did back with bis, with 10 sets for back and 7 sets for bis. Am I just overtraining or do you think there is an underlying problem. I even spent 20 minutes in the hot tub after my workout today.

other than 64 oz of water each day at a minimum, try eating more veggies, maybe some V8's.
I have the same problem, with muscle cramps. your muscles need fuel if you're working them hard
and stay away from sugars, such as white bread, cup cakes, Twinkies, those sorta things

Potassium will be your friends forevah! Supplement with potasium and/or eat lots of bananas. Also, you should consider checking your sodium intake. Surprisingly to many, we do need sodium if we work out regularly. Add like the tip of a teaspoon of table salt to your drink or water before working out and see how it helps. Disregard this if you pig out and have a poor diet.
The OP should also consider massaging the area with icy-hot on a regular basis. He could be having irritated fascia and knots at best (or the offset of ligament inflamation at worse.)
Massage it with icy hot - dig your fingers in it. It will hurt, but it will help you. About two hours later,

Yes sir! Stang is right on the money here. As a former college football player and sprinter I would definitely recommend pickle juice. It will replentish the salts that your body needs to recover from dehydration and coupled with your daily water intake you should be fine. Good suggstion Stang.

stretch between sets or rest longer to let the pump come down, maybe superset with lower body.
