Hey I found a great book " The Performance Zone" by John Ivy and Robert Portman. It breaks things down for individual sports.

Lot's of good stuff out there. You might want to try Chris Carmichales book , since he did a good job with Lance he might have something good to say.

I'm reading Chris Carmicheal's Food for Fitness. Great book so far. Very done to earth and not a lot of scienitific stuff.
