that sounds interesting, I am still kind of skeptical about this concept. But I kind of believe it's possible as well..

If you hit somebody hard enough right in the middle of the chest, about two inches from below the collarbone, you could in theory stop the heart.
In theory.
But you'd need a very good punch (or kick). Strong and quick.

the death touch is a title for a techniq of many different styles all equaling to the same thing.
energy.
in matial arts (i sopose)
its chi
in psi (you know levitateing somthin with your mind)
its psi (x in the greek alphabet known as "unkown")
blah blah blah many other things u get the picture.
anyway its the same thing energy.
and only concentration and ton of practice can controlle it well.
but indeed of many years of practice any person can learn to use energy.
though at that same thing time restrants are different for everyone.
one person could use it naturally and another have to learn it and take 5 years(or learn it and take 2 weeks)
yes its very complicating o well

go ahead learn what is "unknown" GL

The corauded artorie? That must be part of alien physiology, maybe that's why it works??

This thread is still around?
I have a most lethal touch. Here I am demonstrating my death touch.
Notice how my paw hits the "corauded artorie".
Ouch.

I know, I suck at spelling too. But this one is going to get some mileage. I think everyone here has occasional spelling problems so It's not a matter of being a dumb dumb. It's just funny. Very very funny.

I teach physiology so I am well aware of where the carotid artery is, just that momentary strikes to it do not cause enough blood loss to cause loss of conciousness. Take a look a choke holds for example, they take about 3 seconds to affect true loss of conciousness.

Ok I think I replied here before myself, and this was one of the most debated topics in this section.
I saw a show last night called "Fight Science" on National Geographic Channel. There is a death punch, they had a guy who was an expert in ninjitsu named Glen Levy do a punch called a hammer fist to the heart. They had this dummy that cost over 10 grand I think, it measures all kinds of stuff. Its the same dummy they use in car crash tests, it measured that the guys punch would cave in the part of the chest he hit 2 1/2 inches. Its all about science, the whole show is awesome and anyone who hangs in this section would love to see it. Its about 3 hours long though.
I taped it on a DVR but it would take forever to upload on the computer. So, Im gonna see when it comes on next and then Im gonna tape just that scene and then upload it to Rapidshare and post the evidence for all to see. Im also gonna search youtube to see if they may have it as well.
Here is a clip from youtube showing a preview of the show, at 2:53 in they show the guy doing the death punch but no info in that clip to show you how it works though :

well think about the bilions of people that play football, hockey, lacrosse, with pads, without pads. every single spot on the body has been hit with huge force across the globe at some point or another. The only stories ive evr heard of death through contact is either a hit to the head or chest(lax player died a couple years back while playing catch w/o pads on. ball hit him in the chest and killed him.)

LOL this thread is funny.
If you hit someone hard enough in the head, they have a possibility of dying.
But theres no single touch move where you are guaranteed to kill someone.

I knew someone would be watching that show, as I was, and mention this. Congrats Doughboy, it was you! lol Seriously though, that show was so melodramatic it was making me sick. I wish they would simply focus on the science instead of trying to tell people how these feats are superhuman or innate to certain martial arts styles. I came away from it thinking that it could have been done so much better, and as was previously mentioned, that the principle is certainly there, though the idea of landing such a lucky shot with enough force to kill someone is almost zero within the confines of an actual fight. Given this paradigm, the kid who punched Harry Houdini in the stomach exhibited his own brand of dim mok, as he died from the blow shortly thereafter.

Right painless I got sick of that too, telling them all that stuff dude saying he like superman lol. It was a cool show though. I agree about the shot in an actual fight too, I mean the dude u fightin would have to just be standing there. I did like the juijitsu guy alot though, and the dude who had the strongest knee kick.
lmao I was wondering if anyone else here saw that too painless
