Default Any good websites for Ju-Jitsu???

Hi, I've been doing ju-jitsu since September, generally managing to go once a week for a two-hour training session and I'm really enjoying it. Trouble is, every time I miss a session or maybe for other reasons, I end up forgetting quite a bit of what I learn in the dojo. It's really embarrassing, especially when you're in the middle of a circle of people and you're meant to fend off their attacks. A couple of months ago, I went to a training day of about 4 hours of jitsu, and just before the end my mind went absolutely blank. Not nice at all.

Ideally I'd practise in between sessions but I have quite a small room and nobody to practise with, so it's kind of hard to revise this sort of thing. So I was wondering if there was a website with advice on technique, where I could go over things like throws etc. Maybe with videos so you can see how it's really meant to be done! If anyone can come up with some good links I'd be really grateful because I really want to do well at this. And hopefully it might help someone else in my position too

For basic stuff, I recently found this site: http://www.ultimatejujitsu.com/ and then click on "Techniques". That's a good site as a beginner's reference point but there are hundreds of sites out there if you have time to sift through Google.

Are you referring to ju jitsu, as in traditional Japanese jujitsu, or jiu jitsu, as in Brazilian jiu jitsu?

In any case, my dojo encourages us to write our notes down in a journal, not just of techniques, but of fight theory and thoughts. That way you have a reference anytime you forget, and you can also see how your views change over time.

As far as the actual practice and repetition of the moves go, there is obviously no substitute for it. Most people can't learn just from watching, they have to learn technique through doing (with a close watch from an instructor). And in my case, when you're talking about locks/chokes, I need to have it done on me to understand.
