Results of UFC 69 - Spoilers
If you don't want to know the results, then avoid this topic.
Ok, I just saw the fights I wanted to see. Luke Cumo, Diego, and St. Pierre.
I thought Luke looked great. He should go far in this sport. Good grappling abilities, good hands, and plenty of heart. Granted the opponent isn't much of one, but he still did good.
Diego's fight totally blew, and Koscheck is the biggest ass in the sport. WTF was with his hand out in front of him for the whole fight? If Diego actually trained with Oscar, then he should've been able to pick that apart. Never should you leave your hand out like that. That's like basic boxing there. Same goes for Koscheck's aparantly "great striking ability". He totally sucks. He's got one punch that he relies on all the time; the overhand right. I can't wait until he gets creamed again. And I don't personally think this was Diego's first loss. I think he lost to Karo when they fought. He ended up looking much much worse, but I thought he won. Karo would've have also handed Koscheck his ass I think.
What a shock in the GSP Serra fight. There's not much to say about it though. Serra has heavy hands and GSP couldn't take the power. He was totally controlling the fight until Serra landed his first shot, which then snowballed into the loss. That division gets shaken up again. Can't wait to see more.
Post your thoughts.

I don't think GSP ever really recovered after that first shot. I really wanted to see the Heath Herring match but they cut it from the PPV. Makes me wonder why they spent so much money acquiring the WFA and don't even promote the fighters they signed..... oh ya, Rampage. But seriously, they cut Lyoto Machida's fight out of the PPV he fought in, and that guy is undefeated with wins over Rich Franklin, BJ Penn, and Stephan Bonnar. That is a pretty impressive resume. And Heath Herring is....or used to be top 10 heavyweight. Before Fedor and CroCop came along he was definitely top 5.

to me it looked like GSP got hit in the back of his head with one of the first hits, that would explain why his feet suddenly got all shakey. The cerebellum controlls balance and motor integration, among other things...
Anyway, he will be champ again soon. Such an class act...

^ He is a class act. I really like GSP, not just because he's Canadian but because he's the kind of competitor that martial arts makes. He's got nothing bad to say about his competitors, and he fights to improve himself. Not to show other people how good he is.
Taking nothing away from Serra, that's exactally how to capitalize on your opportunity. Everyone on the TUF series should look at him as an example. He'll be a good champ, until GSP takes the title back
