Tito Ortiz is witty (spoilers)
Anybody see the post-fight interview from UFC 73 Stacked?
When Joe Rogan asked Tito about grabbing on to the cage when rashad was trying to throw him (which cost him the point that was the difference between a win and a tie):
"I tried it once and got away with it, then I did it again and lost a point, but if you're not cheating, you're not trying"
I don't believe someone who is competive and a "champion" would say something like that! Try saying that to your employer or your wife and see what happens.
I think his career is over....this was his last chance to stay relevant and he blew it. especially with how much Dana hates him i doubt we'll see much from him. Dana will give him a rematch with Rashad because people will watch it, but regardless of the outcome I don't think there's much left there. I was so hoping they'd do a Chuck Tito rematch to see who gets to fight Rampage but who knows now.
Thoughts?

Tito's career is over? I highly doubt it.
His shot at regaining the belt and beating Liddell is about one in a million.
First off, Chuck doesn't have the belt anymore. If he gets another title shot, it won't be against Chuck.
Second, I'm not sure he can beat Rampage. If Rampage can stomp Chuck, he can surely stomp Tito as well.
I don't think Tito's washed up. But I think he needs to change direction. Maybe he could pack on a few pounds and go up to full heavyweight rank? That would mean squaring off with Arlovski, Sylvia, Kongo, Cro Cop, a possible rematch with Couture....
The 'I beat Shamrock into retirement'song is getting old. He can't sustain a solid rep on past matches. He needs to keep moving forward.

That's why I think going to full heavywright would be a good thing. If he did, and wound up with the belt, that would be a big feather in his cap.

He can't touch randy either. Tito has been done for a while, he was a popular name with big mouth. He used to fight pretty well and he should bow out before he ends up like shamrock getting his face beaten every time he goes in the ring. As for Chuck and rampage. I don't think that Chuck is better then rampage but i do think he can at least stay with him for a couple rounds and maybe catch him and get lucky.

Speaking of chuck and rampage, anyone ever think that the UFC will start having "rematch clauses" put into certain fights. I don't think anybody would mind seeing chuck and rampage go at it again right away instead of having to watch chuck work his way up again for a year before he gets another title shot
I was kinda thinkin the same for Matt Hughes and Georges St Pierre. Now matt serra is champ and even though hughes and st pierre have had two really good fights it'll be a while before we see that rematch, for the title at least.

Most fans don't want an immediate rampage-chuck rematch; Rampage has already *dominated* Chuck twice. Chuck should have to go on a tear through the division to earn the opportunity to fight for the title again.
As for Tito, I don't think he's "finished', because he'll always sell tickets with his WWF-style antics. But I doubt he'll ever get the title again, the division has really passed him up skillwise. He's not a world class wrestler, and at this point in the sport he would need to be to get the title, since he doesn't have knockout power on his feet.

What if Tito went to Elite XC? Word has it Ken Shamrock will be going there. Frankie's already there. If Tito followed the Shamrocks, he could re-kindle the feud.
I think, though, Frank would give him a much better fight.
On the other hand, he might get KO'd by Charles 'Crazy Horse' Bennett, and be completely before millions of otherwise adoring fans.
