12 Week Pre-Fight Program
Alright... So I've been asked to help a friend who fights MMA amature with his workout and martial arts training.
The program I've designed consists of four phases... I would like some feedback from others on this... what am I missing and what should be changed?
Phase 1 - 4 Weeks:
-cut weight
-increase cardio ability
-correct muscular imbalances
-neuromuscular facilitation
Phase 2 - 4 Weeks:
-maintain weight
-maintain cardio
-develop muscular power
Phase 3 - 4 Weeks:
-cut remaining weight needed
-maintain muscular ability
-max cardio
Phase 4 - Remaining few days Pre-Fight:
-maintain
-lower volumes & intensity
