Injury in Lower Pelvic Region
Let me start by trying to explain my situation...its kind of complicated.
About a year ago I injured my lower back on the right behind my pelvic bone. The injury was a freak one considering it occured by myself missing the last step on a staircase. Let me explain my symptoms. First, the pain feels like a sharp stabbing sensation right behind my pelvis on the right. This also causes the muscles on the right side of my back along the spine to spasm and cause constant pain. It also sometimes spreads down into my hip and upper thigh and groin region. Now here is the strange part of the injury....Lifting heavy objects does not cause me pain, but a simple act like a pat on the wrong part of my back causes severe pain and spasms. I have tried exercises and read all the threads in this forum, but nothing seems to help. I've also been to 3 different doctors who have failed to diagnose the injury. I've had a bone scan for stress factures, MRI for a slipped or herniated disc, and even a blood test for a bacterial infection in the joint but everything came back normal. I believe it could be a serious injury to a muscle, but I'm unsure. Someone please help b/c it has gotten to the ppint where I've had to cut back on my workout regime, and a good night's sleep is almost impossible. Thanks...if you have any questions pm me and I'll try to elaborate further.
