well ive read here previosly the importance to have this procedure done, but i have to say i allready knew in the back of my mind it needed to be done because of my age bracket. i gotta tell you this really sucks!....lol it has put a big hamper in my training and supplements taken. i mean come on!....what guy in there right mind would want something stuck up them? that it probably one of the biggest reasons guys wait to get this procedure done and you know what? it may be too late by then.......just think about it this way......how sexy would you look with a colostomy bag hanging from your ripped six pack? how would you feel about taking a crap in a bag attached to your body for possibly the rest of your life? would your significant other find you attractive with a bag strapped to you full of crap? it was thoughts such as these and a few more i wont mention here that has made my decision for this. i gotta tell you guys getting up there in age to do it to. if not you may be playing russian roulette with your life. just my thoughts.

the problem is guys associate the act of anything touching their anus as being gay for some reason. It probably stems from some deep seeded mommy's boy or daddy issues if we really get into it. Guys need to just toughen up and get shit done wither it deals with your anus, testicles, whatever. It doesnt make you queer, it doesnt make you less of a man, roids wont shrink your dick, shaving your sac isnt a gay act. etc.......
Good call wildstang, im actually considering it here shortly and im only 31. I want to enjoy what little life i have left as healthy as possible.

I am only 20 so I am hoping I can hold off a couple more years before I need to go get one. Its not that I think getting a tube stuck up my ass is gay, its just that I am getting a fucking tube stuck up my ass. I cannot imagine it being very pleasant.

well i just had the procedure done this morning at 8:00 a.m. and i can assure you the worst of it was drinking the electrolyte solution. the actual procedure they put me under anesthesia, to my relief!......doc said that is pretty much standard procedure now days. so i can assure you that you wont feel a thing!........and if the doc dosent want to use anesthesia....get another doc!
so it really isnt as scary as one might think! jsut think of the consiquences if deciding against it. for the record i had 3 polyops removed. doc said one was very suspicious, meaning the type that turns cancerous. it has been sent off to be biopsied. he assured me if i prolonged it another 3-5 years chances of them being cancerous was very likely considering my family history.

well heres an update on my colonoscopy procedure. the lab results came back on the polops removed. one of them WAS! pre-cancerous!! im 42 now and any guys near my age if you havent gotten one done you may want to think long and hard about this because, if you have a polop and believe me you have no way of knowing its there unless it grew to the size of a apple or something and started obstructing things. with my report the doc gave me it made me realize how close death wouldve been if i didnt catch this in time. and to think about doing the chemo and trying to work out.......that would never happen! ive seen my brother waste away from cancer and from seeing how sick the chemo made him i know working out at the gym would be impossible unless you set some weights in the bathroom and lifted between heaving your guts out in the stool. it was very sad 2 see such a man of his stature waste away before your very eyes!
this is one of those things were you dont know if you have any polops without being checked out. my advised me colon cancer is on the rise, there is a steady increase being reported yearly. now the question is....are you willing to just close your eyes to this real and imminent danger. the doc advised me usually 2 out of 3 people develop polops at some point in life. some may never be pre-cancerous either, but are you willing to wait and take your chances, or do you want to cheat death and make him come back later in life instead of now?
