Question Newbie... help please

hey all ,
i'm just getting back in to training... used to train loads when i was younger, but i also had a lot of a better lifestyle back then too.

when i was training before, people were telling me about stuff like efordrine???
etc.. apparently it gave you that extra energy to train a little longer??

anyway, i've been reading the treads on here today, and have come across something called an ECA stack.. Whats this all about?

basically any advice about supplements to get me going would be cool.. at the moment i'm so tired all the time, after work all i want to do is sleep, and i'm finding it hard to fit in any time to go training...

i wanna start training to lose some weight and to build and tone up a little musscle, i don't have any intentions of becoming herculies, tho i do want to have some more energy

any help would be most appreciated.. btw.. i live in the uk
and any info on where to buy such things as ECA stack or energy boosters would be good too

cheers

ECA stack is the ephedra / caffeine / aspirin. Definately and energy boost, but also an effective way to boost metabolism through its thermogenic properties. Ephedra at the amount you need for the stack is not for sale in the US (been off the market for about a year and a half).

I think if you start working out more you will see the energy level come back naturally - the more I work out, the more energy I have. i know if might be hard to be motivated with the lack of energy initially, but just do it!

I am not a big fan of the ephedra-free products - they might give you a boost, but IMO they are just caffeine and other ingredients. Again, IMO, they do not give the thermogenic effect that you had from the ECA stack, and some are very expensive. A good cup of coffee will give you the same boost.

Ephedra is legal now and is found in some stores. I dont think youll find it in your GNC or big chain stores, i get it at a local family owned store called J & J Health Foods. I buy Vasopro Ephedrine 25mg tabs for my ECA stack.

Most people are tired at the end of the day due to high insulin levels due to poor diets during the day. It is extremely important that if you want to start feeling better gaining energy and muscle that you look into a comprehensive program of
diet and exercise. Aerobics 5-6 times a week. Weight lifting 2-3 times a week.
Get the processed foods and sugars out of your diet. Each time you eat poor quality starches and sugars then your insulin level rises which sets up a whole
cascade of events that sludges your body. Concentrate your food choices on
veges, fruits, meats and fish. You must include complex carbohydrates for energy in the form of Whole wheat bread, beans and brown rice are excellent
choices. Stop with the caffine and energy supplements. Use a parrillo bar for
energy between meals which will not raise your insulin level. Be patient and within a few weeks your feel the positive benifits of this program. Use Whey
protein isolates as a supplement to help with the muscle building aspect of your program.

well, i've been working out since i've been 12 (27 now), literally have taken no more than 11 month off at a time, so i feel pretty good about being able to judge what goes into my body.

ephedra or any type of heavy stimulant messes me up good. i actually just got some noxplode and felt like i was going to pass out thee whole time i was working out. i took my heart rate after two sets of squats and it was like 190 bpm....i had to leave the gym...definitely don't recommend them if u need energy eat multiple small meals a day and have a small snack before working out!
