The above link is for an independent website that details a drug in stage III FDA approval process called Acomplia. It acts on the metabolic pathway and the brains reward center to cause weight loss, smoking cessation and apparently can reverse the effects of type 2 diabetes. Pretty interesting if you like keeping up on this type of stuff. It looks to be approved Feb-March next year. It'll probably do a billion dollars in the first year alone with how fat everyone in the US seems to be getting!
