Default Caffeine Pills

One time I did an experiment and took some of my friend's caffeine pills before a run. While I don't like to use any supplements, and etc., I did notice I seemed to run with a more disciplined form and I felt faster when I ran. But when I checked my times, I couldn't tell a difference from the workout times. Are these pills just a placebo or do they help in terms of workingout? I want to know before I buy a box of pills only to throw them away later.

They definitely work. Caffeine liberates fatty acids, increases liver glycogen breakdown, opens calcium channels and increases heart rate, all resulting in dramatically improved tension in muscle fibers and endurance capacity. It is most active 1 hour post ingestion and is more effective in pill form than in such things as coffee.

be sure to double your water intake as caffine causes dehydration

Good point, especially if you are not a regular user of caffeine.

Default hydroxycut

Does anyone have any info on hydroxycut? I bought some teh other day and am a little apprehensive about using it. I desperately need to lose weight, I can do half an hour on the treadmill at half gallup and some 20 nminutes of moderate reps. I'm concerned about side effects. I am over 40 and want a better healthy life. thnx

If you're going to use it, then start with the minimum dosage and see what the effects are. Be cautious with using stimulants to often or for a prolonged period of time as well. Take it one hour before exercise and then do what you feel is right for aerobic exercise, but don't overdo it. You are your own best indicator of restriction. Keep us informed.

I love caffeine. I rarely train without it. Improved focus and energy. I also take it before going out to party on weekends. Good stuff. Any Supplement shop or website should sell it in pills.

I guess caffine does not let your body obsorb calcium as well or at all, I forget which one.
Just a note since were talking about caffine, I'm going to try and lean away from some suppliments like caffine efedrine pills this time around, even though I got a bit of this stuff sitting here.

Caffeine liberates calcium from the bone in order to facilitate muscle contractility, that might be what you're thinking of.

forbb's how many miligrams of caffine? 200?

Also people should keep in mind caffine can mask when your body is tired. You can push to over training. If you have high aerobic workouts or just consistent long workouts (over 3 hours) be careful with always "forcing" you body. Try 3 days without it every 3 weeks or so just to take a pulse of where your at. If your dead tired those days take a few days off.

Remember a day off is better than over training and plateauing. This is just my humble opinion.

Ok I guess I will take some of my caffine powder "Guarana" I got while in Brazil, humm than I got some DYMA_BURM Xtreme Fat burners left 2 caps have 200mg ephedrina? I believe ephedrine might of been pulled off the Canadian market, I remember a brand was in the newspaper for some reason.

Well my question is how much of this stuff should I take to assist in fat loss? I weight 167 lbs 5 foot 7 inches about 14-15% bf. I am going to buy some asprin I guess too.

P.S.- I like panex ginseng for working out it gives you a nice energy boost, and it does not cost to much.

"Remember a day off is better than over training and plateauing. This is just my humble opinion." << thats prob why I did not gain as much as I would of liked in the last while I was working out.

Edit : Wtf happened to my rep power: 2

Painless......my fatty acids are well liberated, poor reception on my calcium channels, myocardial contractability is poor, my resting HR is 130, and I have stored over two years of glycogen .just last week(theoretically). How much caffeine should I take. Doesn't nicotine work the same way? I am deciding between 3 triple expresso per day or 1 pack of nicorette per day. My goals are simple. To be the largest edurance athlete ever...

Well said gg3.

Forbbs, 50mg of ephi twice per day? I usually use 24mg 3 times per day (along with 200mg C and 325mg A).

Do you find 50mg works better or just a different way to take it?

You need more lung capacity to facilitate the actual usage of this fat as fuel nursebber, everyone knows that you can't eat at the Chinese buffet and stay lean, except the Hops.
