Hey, Z; we're up in Northern Virginia (Fairfax). My wife did Pikes Peak a few months back (ran up and down!) and was thinking about doing some bigger climbs this year. What's your interests?

Well I just went to the rock wall recently and got supper excited about it!

I enjoy backpacking, hiking, repelling, camping, outdoor stuff. Also been mountain biking with some buddies lately. But with the warm weather coming soon, I'm looking to get outside of Hampton Roads and head up to Shannadoah (?sp) and the Blue Ridge area. Do some real stuff.

I know a few people who do mountain biking stuff around here; I'm a road bike guy myself. If you come up this way, let me know and we'll grab a beer.

You might check out some local bike shops; I noticed our local shop sets up rides for its customers and the turnout is pretty good.
