Default Losing Water Weight for compyness

I know theres bits and peices of how to lose water weight and stuff but I cant seem to find the whole picture

Is this right? from like a week before:

1: no carbs
2: no salt
3: drink a billion litres then stop entirely two days before competition

is that right?

no, it all depends on how you look 10 days out.
I usually do diuretics from 1-4 wks out, this time for this contest I got so ripped so fast I did them a week out and may not have even needed to really, and other times its not enough, it really depends on your prep, many do it all with no supps and no water deplete or salt worry or watershedding, because of timing of prep, getting ahead and keeping consistent.

there is no whole picture............anyone who does list one is only refering to what worked for them, that time...........ask insex, I bet his prep has varied each show depending on how prep went and how he looked a month out , 2 weeks out, a week out...........you cannot know this until you get there so you cannot really plan what you do, you go week by week, month by month.

When preparing for a show, I usually start reducing my water intake about 5 days before the show. I basically cut my water intake in half with each passing day, until I reach zero on the day of the show. At the same time, I continue doing lot's of cardio to sweat out as much water as I can.

Sodium intake is reduced to almost zero, so I don't retain much water.

Carbohydrates are reduced by a lot, almost zero up to the day of the show. Then I'll "carb up" right before the show.

Keep in mind, I don't use diuretics. If I did, then I wouldn't cut my water intake because there would be no need to. Also keep in mind that I've only been competing in amateur bodybuilding competitions for less than 2 years. So I probably haven't found what works best for me just yet. But I will, soon.

Are you going to be entering a competition soon, GG? If you are, you know you can count on us to help you out with whatever you need.

Adonis posted this rather lengthy article a while back. Now this seems a bit extreme to me but I do not compete. I thought about doing this before my weigh in but I don't know how it will affect just body fat %

yeah i really wanna go in this next one coming up but I also have my pay review at work the same month... and I'm pretty sure it will affect my performance at work so I'm not sure whether to or not!

Have you ever found when you get down to the lower water holding stages, even if you're still drinking a lot of water, you get symptoms of urinary tract infections?

For some reason since I upped my water intake I feel more dehydrated and like I need to go to the toilet even when I dont... is that the norm?
