Noooooo, not my Chipotle! I typically skip the ~300 calories provided by the torilla and get "un poco" bit of cheese occasionally, but c'mon, that's the WORST Mexican Entree they could find? I guess in terms of sheer size it's pretty nutty, but am I to assume that a deep fried torilla offering like an Taco Bell chalupa or Baja Fresh 'enchilado' style burrito is even marginally better?
I don't understand the PF Chang's Pork Lo Mein having 1,100 fat calories out of a total 1,820. Maybe the noodles are fried in lard, but I'd guess that it would primarily be carbs, as it's a pasta dish with small bits of pork.

I love my Quiznos. At least my prime rib with peppercorn sauce isn't there so I guess I'm OK.

Wow Quiznos AND Chipotle( usually get the same burrito they showed except with beef, which is probably worse).... I love those places...in fact...I want some right now.

They really hammered Macaroni Grill, On the Border, and Chili's on this list.
Anyone smell politics?

It looks like they just took some random chains and found bad items on each menu. I don't think that the 1/2 lbs burger at once place is necessarily better or worse than any other place. It sounds like more lazy journalism that we've grown accustomed to in the health/fitness world, complete with a hyped title.

U know IMO, it is not the food that matters (or matter a much), but the serving that the resturant serve. I have heard that in the US, a 'normal' serving is already considered too much calories for 1 meal (talk about value for money eh?)
And honestly out of the 20, I havent even heard of about 10 of them b4 lol!

They did a show on all the restauants and how unhealthy everything is here i Canada. I was interesting but a few things pissed me off a bit. They were saying that "men should eat about 1800 caleries a day". They didn't say "the average man" or "a man of this size and activity level." found it kind of annoying.
The part of the show that was good was when they were talking about a push to put calories, sodium and fat content on the menu. I disagreed with it but I do think that they should have a separate brochure that you can grab on the way in to restaurant if you want to make your selection based on that. I don't think it should be on the menu because there are days that you just want a tastey meal on don't care if its good for you.
If you want to see its here:
CBC.ca - Marketplace - Calorie Confidential
It does have some interesting tips in it. I think i'll post them in another thread.
