Default Can anyone suggest any proven ways for weight loss?????

Hi everyone, I have been really obsessed with my weight problem. I am a 33 year old female and have gained 90lbs which makes the count to 210. I recently took out some of my summer clothes and they don’t fit me anymore!!! This is a real tragedy for me. How can I not wear the ones I adore...moreover the new look is getting me mad (with the comments from my friends). I know quite a few ways to start losing weight…….but I don’t really feel that, with so many people failing using these methods that I will make it through. Does anyone know a proven way to reduce the weight?

Please help me…..this is killing me!!!

Jaycee, welcome to EF! I am sorry to hear about your struggle with weight loss. It is a common problem with many of our members. I would suggest you do a search of this site before you do anything else because there is already a wealth of information here! Good luck!

Help is here.............tell me what you are doing now the past month or so for diet and working out?
Not sure if you are seeking formal programming but you should check out my 'Curvy Girls' program at one of my sites, either in the 'services and ebooks' area of figureteam.com, link is in mid left area........or through bodyrushpersonaltraining.com although to sign up it has to be done at figureteam cuz I had some issues getting the subscription button to work on the br site........
otherwise if you are wanting to do this youself, do post diet and training and many of us will chime in and probably bombard you with ideas you can gleen......

I can suggest a proven, yet, simple way for weight loss. It's the concept of consistency.

Think about it. You got to the point you're at right now because of choices you made on a consistent basis. You consistently skipped workouts, you consistently made poor food choices, you consistently ate large portions, and so on. Your current condition is a result of the poor choices you made over an extended period of time on a consistent basis. However, there are also other factors that contribute to weight gain which we don't have much control over like stress, depression, unfortunate tragic events, pregnancy, giving birth, and others. These other factors are understandable because some things in life are either unavoidable or should have a higher priority in our lives. But for the most part, consistent choices create results and you are responsible for the choices you make.

You need to stop looking at the other people around you who are failing and just focus on yourself. Those other people fail at losing weight because they either didn't want it bad enough or they were incapable of putting in the time and effort needed to see results. But you're not them, you're Jaycee. You're better than them! Just because they fail at their weight loss endeavors doesn't mean you're destined to fail too. You can accomplish your goals!
