Bad habits...
So, I won't get into the long version, the short version is as follows - krav maga class is suppose to be half an hour... ended up being an hour, it really kicked me in the arse. Anyhow, ended up grabbing a pizza to share with folks at home...
...I need input on how you guys fend off "food cravings". (And yes, this could be considered a cheat meal... still don't like throwing dairy down the gullet)

They say that if you can distract yourself from a craving for 20 minutes it will go away. I've had many experiences in which that is true and some that it isn't.

Good to know... I'll try that next time (when) there is a next time. Stomach is making me regret giving in to temptation now... damn you pizza! (and tomorrow is the wine and food show here in ottawa... oh well... better than drinking in some dingy dive of a bar that a number of my friends insist on going to)

Yeah, there has to be some damn good quality to a white to make me drink it. Although, knowing me, I'm going to get some sort of wine stain on me...

My insatiable hunger *could* have had something to do with the last meal I had was at 3, class was at 630... my math isn't *that* good, but if I've carried the variable, it equals a hungry Dave.

So is this a general hunger or a specific craving. Now before you laugh this off consider....
Your body sends signals about what it needs. Think about what would satisfy that pang. Is it salt, sweet, fatty ? Identifying this could help. Water is a good start, apple for both fiber and sweet cravings, salt cravings could mean your not hydrating properly, fatty cravings usually mean you bods looking for fast fuel. a small amount of the right food may be the answer.
