Holiday weight loss
Everyone wants to look great for the holidays, right? It is just so hard! We've already received so many cookies, candies, gift baskets, etc. and the temptations are killing me! Any tips on how to stay on track during this holiday season?

Tips:
Put them away - out of site, out of mind.
There are lots of things to eat during the holidays that are still good for you so focus on them.
Don't go for seconds.
If you have a craving, wait for an hour and it will go away, if it doesn't just have a small portion. Thats all I can think of.

Deliver some of those cookies and candies to your neighbors. You will be rid of the temptations plus you will come off like the best neighbor ever.
Well... unless your neighbors are also trying to avoid that stuff. Then well... I dunno.

Re-gifting is RECYCLING, lol!! JK
Seriously......try to stick to your reg eating as much as possible.....higher protein consumption usually can stop a cookie attack or other sugary items......don't deprive yourself either as that tends to have a rebound effect and people tend to say - - ck it, and eat loads of crap anyways...b/c it's only once a year...yeah right! Moderation is key......throw in a few HIIT sessions in the holidays to keep things at maintenance values...I wouldn't strive to 'lose' through the holidays....but maintaining is realisticly attainable.
My sweet tooth satisfier? A good cuppa peppermint green tea, works for me everytime! tho' I'm not a big chocolate eater.
