Extremely High Metabolism.. Hard to gain weight!
I am 20 years old, 6'0 and 160ish pounds. I have an EXTREMELY difficult time gaining any kind of weight. I have been rather unhealthy in my eating habits the last year, as my job had a burger king right across the street and I would eat there literally every meal. I did this for a year straight. I would eat at least a large whopper meal for lunch and supper every day, and I did not gain a single pound. I have recently started eating healthier, but I still cannot gain any weight from eating.
Any suggestions? Is there a supplement I can take? Or does anyone have any food ideas?
I am trying to bulk up and put on some weight, but I am beginning to lose all hope on ever doing it, and it's depressing me.

The short answer is you need to eat more. That's really the long answer, too.
You just need to eat more calories than you're expending. I had difficulty gaining weight until adolescence was over, but if I'd have just known about how much food I'd have to eat, I probably could have made some gains -- I never figured that stuff out until I kept a food journal. If you're willing to, I'd tell you to do the same thing.
And 2 whopper meals is only 3600 calories, and almost not actual nutritive value. For comparison's sake, I'm losing weight while eating significantly more than that. And I'm willing to guarantee you that you're eating less than you think.

as a person who struggled being a fatty most of my life, i hope you arent just trying to put on fat because you are tired of being skinny!!! There is such a thing as a skinny fat person. I see them all the time, mostly the dumpy looking chicks and guys with the big flat ass, no muscle tone at all whatsoever and a double chin but thin as a rail.
I see nothing about you exercising at all, just that you keep eating crap, nothing nutritional in hopes of putting on fat. With your crazy metabolism, you can eat 6 - 7 meals a day, 500-700 cal's per meal, 8oz of meat, 6oz of carbs and another 4-6oz of green veggies. Along with some heavy weight lifting an hour or so 5 days a week hitting every major muscle group, you will start adding lean mass, not fat. You don't necessarily need to do fat burning cardio so you could just run for 10-15 minutes after workouts to keep your cardiovascular health up, blood flowing to the muscles quickly and be fine.

Perhaps you should write a book. I'm sure there are a lot of other people out there who would love to eat whatever they want and maintain a healthy Body Mass Index.
