Default whats the best meal plan for losing weight?

i am about 20lbs to heavy. most of which is in my mid section, ie., lovehandles and a little belly. i have gone from a 32" waist to a 34" and i refuse to buy new pants. i am about to start a new workout and i will be using the P90X program too. i have not been in the gym in about 9 months to a year (got in a relationship..lol) my stats are.....5'7", 180 lbs, 36 years old and i am out of shape now. i have really let myself go and i am sick of it...i have recently aquired a sweet tooth as well which mainly hits me right before bed....even worse, huh??? please help and i am also on a budget due to a recent layoff...keep it cheap!!! thank you!

Cheapest and easiest: just cut out all processed foods. Outmeal, vegetables, fruit, hamburger, tuna. They're real easy.

Avoid Sugar in hidden forms....

your sweet touth may be the problem. Keep pears and apples in the fridge for late "Sweet" snacking. Get away from everything but water to drink.....

If you want to lose weight by eating healthier, and you happen to be on a tight budget, then just reduce your consumption to the bare necessities. This means:

- Cooking your own food. No more junk food, TV dinners, or drive-thrus!

- Basic foods that don't require much time or preparation (brown rice, oatmeal, chicken, fish, ect.).

- Mother's advice still rings true: Eat your fruits and vegetables.

- No more sodas, fruit juices, sports drinks, ect. The only liquids you should be purchasing and consuming are water, milk, and maybe some orange juice (not from concentrate).

After a while, not only will you look and feel healthier, but you'll also have a fatter wallet.

ya. it's not so much about what you aren't, doing, but what you need to quit.
