Will anybody be able to stop USC?
After the 70-15 spanking that USC put on Arkansas, does anybody see a way to stop the Trojans?

I didn't get a chance to see that game since I'm in Big 12 country. Perhaps you did since you're a little further west than I. I heard the Cal defence played well, but also USC was not hitting on all cylinders that day. Perhaps they play up or down to their opponent. Outside of Texas, I can't think of a team that has the offensive firepower to match up with the Trojans...They kind of remind me of the Miami Hurricanes of years past with the vertical ball movement, but USC has a real stable of tailbacks. I heard LenDale White was complaining about not getting enough carries.

Yep, the Irish are light years ahead of where they were last year. Are they playing in South Bend or in the Rose Bowl?

Oh yeah, a road game at a hostile field could give USC problems. And I agree that "The Program" was a great flick...

I think the Irish are much improved from last year, but still am not totally impressed. I know they beat Michigan in Ann Arbor, but...
USC is in a class by themselves.

USC.. SHMOO-SC.. i'm tired of hearing about a team that woops on patsies every week... let's see what they do when they face someone worth a damn!! And for a reminder of that, just look at what happened to Miami in the National Title Game when they faced a REAL football team in Ohio State!!!

I think Virginia Tech, Ohio State and Texas are probably the only teams that could go toe to toe with USC. The way they opened the field with their wideouts and being two deep at the tailback position with Bush and White is just sick...

I used to think the same think about USC...but that was before the Orange Bowl Massacre. I didn't think they'd be able to stand up to a Big 12 defense. Not only did they stand up, they made OU's defense look inept. Granted, a lot of guys on USC's team had the game of their lives, but they are just LOADED....
