Skydiving
I saw skydiving as part of the description in this section and was just wondering if anyone has ever gone skydiving. Its something I have always thought I would like to try one day but havnt done. If you have gone, how much does it usually cost? What's it like? How dangerous is it? Maybe if I ever get the nerve and some people to go with me, I will go.

While you are a student without equipment around 80 bucks per jump.
If you have a license and your own equipment it's around 20 bucks.
Equipment depends on new ore used, some thousand bucks.
If you are just interested in a single tandem jump it will cost around
150 bucks.

Depends on the person!
For me it's great fun.

Not as dangerous as your drive to the airfield.

I did a single tandem jump for like $185. It was pretty cool and was definitely something I would recommend everyone do at least once. Its an interesting feeling jumping out of a plane from 15000 feet. My buddy got the video where someone jumps out with you, its pretty funny to look back at.

I'll be doing a tandem jump on July 1 weather permitting. I've always wanted to do this so my wife said for my 45th birthday she'd throw me out of plane and got me a gift certificate. Ain't love grand.

I'm taking the plunge tomorrow. The weather forecast is supposed to be sunny with highs in the upper 80's. Perfect weather. I'm getting the jump filmed and put on a DVD to preserve the moment.

Cool. Let us know how it went. I've always wanted to do that, but I am a coward.
