World Cup
Is anyone going to watch the world cup? It starts June 9th.
I saw the U.S. team play Morrocco in Nashville two weeks ago.
GO USA

all I have to say is Força Portugal!
Its Brazil's to lose to be honest...but the closest contenders are Italy, Argentina, Germany, England, Portugal, Spain, France, Holland and Czech Rep. in that order.
USA will be lucky to get to the round of 16.

i think italy and argentina have lost it abit...they dont seem to have the flare they did many years ago...
england are touch and go...stupid crouch...have you seen this guy? he's a 7ft chopstick! hahaha. hopefully they'll do well.
(my company's put up an overhead projector in the conference room so that we can watch it!!!how good is that?)

I have been waiting for this thing literally for like 9 months...been an italy fan all my life, but also rooting for USa.....
I predict Italy to win, atleast i hope, they have best team since i can remember, but also there r a lot of teams there to show what they have for 1st time, so they will be good...and of course few powerhouse teams will colapse at begining
I predict Italy, Holland, Czech, England, and France to do fairly well....64 games within a month... IM IN HEAVEN

I hope not, I got Spain in the round of 8 along with Portugal, Netherlands, Germany (home field adv.) Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Italy... I may be crazy but I think that Brazil is actually going to lose a few matches this time around. I have the US out in pool play. just like hockey, bball... etc. damn. Does Canada have soccer?

EVeryone's going to be defending hard against brazil and stop them playing their style of football on the attack.
only way to win against them is probably the counter attack as their defense is weaker...
not long before the games kick off!!!!

bein there would be awesome..but im stuck in south fla USa watchin soccer on the spanish stations because US tv only shows pregame of 7 secs....national anthems n stuff r always good to see...i have brazil losing to czech republic in 2nd rd...due to the fact that they wont be able to score(just one of those days when the ball wont go in) im guessin 2 hit posts, n a disallowed goal..but czech pulls it off

trinidad tied sweden in their first ever world cup game. The sweden fans and commentators were saying that it was going to be a 5-0 game. They couldn't even score one goal. Trinidad's Cup goal was to have less than 10 goals scored on them. They are getting closer.

Viva Portugal, Forza Italia!
I am enjoying many teams this year though, Ghana and Angola and some of those underdogs, win or lose, they showed great effort and heart keeping up with teams like Italy and Portugal etc. Many first time teams to the cup!
The high rollers have actually not been up to par - England, Brazil, Italy, Nedderland are not doing as well as they can I think, although Argentina 6-0.....wow, that was a great game. The last Italy and Portugal games were good too.
I have been watching every game so far!
