Question: What's wrong with Victor Martinez? I used an early draft pick on him for my fantasy baseball team and he's killing me.

Martinez can't hit the long ball but is hitting for a good average. Hafner can't get it in gear at all. Strangely enough, it's the pitching that's keeping them in the games (minus the bullpen which sucks!)

that was a pretty cool play if anyone else saw it. that's why i like baseball. every once in a while a quirky thing happens.....btw wil what draft pick did you use....im not a fan of drafting catchers early....let's go cliff lee!!!

He would have been my 4th round pick. I'm in a keeper league with a slight difference. We have the "option" to keep up to 4 players. I only had 2 legit keepers (Mark Teixeira and Curtis Granderson- b4 his injury he was considered a stud). Then we have a supplemental draft that happens before the actual draft. Anyone who does not keep all 4 players make up the difference in the supplemental draft. I took Jonathan Papelbon and Victor Martinez with my 2 supp picks. It might sound a little confusing but it is a great way to balance things out for guys with weaker teams that may not have any players worth keeping.
