U.S. National Team Beats Spain!!!

U.S. stuns world No. 1 Spain, into Confed Cup final - FOX Sports on MSN

I am beside myself that the US National soccer team beat Spain this afternoon. I didn't think the US had a chance, but they battled hard and beat the world #1.

I am not sure how many soccer fans are out there to enjoy this, but I had to post it somewhere. No one I work with could give a crap... I can't wait to get home and watch it (I recorded it)!!!

as the resident soccer fan here at EF, i must give props to where props r due..I am American born in NY but i am also italian and have related to their team more thru my 24 years of life...
thus when they play each other i am torn...
however todays game was sumtin special..it was a relative nobody(usa) against a top top team in the world..this spain team is numero uno, this is a big win, even tho i didnt agree wit the style of the team n the way the played n dont think they will win the tourney, this def gives them a chance to gain sum confidence n learn how to win big games
