Default Recovery from multiple leg breaks.

A while back i had a motorbike accident and broke my my left Femur in about 3 places, my right Femur in two places. My left Tib and Fib in a few places, my left foot, my left wrist and dislocated a finger.

That was April the 14th and now i've finally had the go ahead to start weight bearing again. (I can' t fully weight bear on each leg but i can use crutches to support some of it so i can start walking, providing i take care not to put all my weight on a single leg.)

I am however shocked at the extent of the muscle loss, i've lost around 2 stone 7 of muscle from around my hips and legs and stuff.

Does anyone know the best supplements or types of exercises to do to build it back as fast as possible?

Any help would be appreciated as i really want to get back to doing all the stuff i was before like martial arts and simillar kinds of things. I know it will take a while but obviously if i can speed up the process at all that would be a big bonus because i'm going crazy from inactivity!

Edit: Stupid me didn't see the thread underneath, but if people have any advice or exercises that take into account that both legs are broken that would be a help!

Did you see a Physical Therapist? What did he tell you?

It would help some of us to know. Thanks.

ya there is ....take your time and dont rush it !! Sounds like the one of the worst i've ever heard ...i would be in no rush ..wait until u can walk without crutches first ...practice that first and worry about building up the legs later dude
