Default AC seperation?

Does this ring a bell for anyone? One of my friends just recently stretched a ligment between the collar bone and another bone ( dont know the bone name) If anyone has any Idea what im talking about any iformation about it would be helpful i.e. whats best to do for his recovery.

The "other" bone you are referencing is the scapula. Specifically, it is the acromion process of the scapula, hence the term AC joint (acromioclavicular joint). You can read more here:
