Need more information such as what symptoms have you been having, did you get diagnosed with a specific problem by a physician yet, and are you having any pain or discomfort?

as far as training before your MRI goes the only thing that will cause is either some more damage or aggravation to injury. the MRI will spot any tears or defects that are present regardless of what prep you do. it MRI is basically a graphic disection of your body area being done. most thorough procedure available of the scans. it will show everything from a small tear in your rotator cuff to a bulged disc on your spine. ive had enough of them done and seen first hand the reports from the doctor showing me and explaining things as he went along. good luck, and if theres damage it will show up.

Hey I tore some thing around Subscapularis, Supraspinatus
when I put my arm out parallel to ground my injured arm can go back behind me about 30' more than my uninjured arm. Also if my arm is placed behind me with back of hand on butt lifting arm away from body is extremely difficult.
There is alot of dull pain while tring to do any work with should even some times while sleeping
There is a noticeable dimple or dip in muscle at base of arm on shoulder
I just want to make sure they dont say the usuall give it 6weeks if its not right come back then
anywho thanks for replying and any more info would be appreciated
my MRI is on the 6th so il let ye know
also I have bolt in my ankle does this effect the MRI scan
thanks
Gelly

no the hardware in the ankle is well out of the scope (tunnel) your shoulder will be in. dont worry, i know you probably thinking a MRI is a big magnet based procedure but your ankle hardware wont be affected by it.
