Default Jumper's Knee strap?

I just picked up a jumper's knee strap because I have developed patella tendinitis from playing indoor soccer the last few years. Anyway, I'm in the process of developing my quads and I've been icing and massaging the knee to try and alleviate my symptoms. My question is about the strap----am I supposed to wear the strap while I'm playing sports or is it meant to be worn during the day and/or when I'm resting?

thanks

adam

Default

I USED TO WEAR THE STRAP BUDDY BUT I FELT IT JUST DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME. WEAR IT WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING AND TRAINING AND ICE THE KNEE AFTERWARDS. kEEP UP THE WORK ON THE QUADS. I WENT TO AN EXPERT AND HE TOLD ME ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO ALLEVIATE THE PAIN WAS TO DO SINGLE LEG SQUATS ON A DECLINE. NO WEIGHT ..JUST KEEP DOING THEM UNTIL YOU CANT DO ANY MORE ...WAS UP TO 250 ON EACH LEG IN SETS OF 50 ...DEFINATELY HELPED ...PURE MURDER THOUGH
