Default on the mend

Hey Ya'll!!!

I haven't been on the site in a spell, well much anyway.

I am currently seeing a physical therapist over the course of this month for my shoulder and I am on anti inflammatory pills for this month, at least.

In December I was in a 14 car pileup north of Green Bay and messed up my shoulder. I do not know all the medical mumbo jumbo, but I apparently separated my shoulder and did something funky to the front muscles of my rotator cuff. I also bruised my shoulder from the joint down along the outside of the bicep and tricep muscles. I also pulled muscles in the pecs and shoulder and delts. Fun, huh?

Considering the crash could have been a lot worse and considering no one in the crash sustained life threatening injures, I am glad.

Anyway, I have not been working out other than P/T, but I am going to begin cardio on the stationary bike and treadmill.

I am also slowly increasing weights at the therapists, and man do they have some really cool weight machines! And I am looking forward to being able to do more at home with dumbbells and I am still using the big rubber band thingies from the therapist.

It is really friggin funny when one comes snapping back at ya because the door was not closed properly!

I am looking forward to being able to ride my street bicycle as soon as the weather permits. That and I have a new Mountain bike on layaway and I'd like to be healthy enough to ride it too, as soon as weather permits.

And I am looking at a chiro for my back too as it has been a jumble since the accident, hence the anti inflammatory pills.

So, in short, I was a wreck, but I am getting better every day.
