Modified Velocity (Before and After)
Well its done. 22 Days of shakes, tuna, flax seed, and fish oil and now here are the results.
Before - 195lb 13.9% Bodyfat
After - 177.5lb Haven't measured bodyfat yet, but assuming no lean muscle loss (I know thats generous) Somewhere around 7% bodyfat
Now for pictures
Before Front:

Before Side:

After Front:

After Side:

And just for fun, after flexing:
So there you go, the total cost of this (plus the next couple transition weeks) was around $600 CND although that only includes the Low-Carb Grow! Surge, and Hot Rox for the transition weeks, not other foods.
Looking back, was it worth it... definatly, would I do it again, hard to say, it was rough at times and I'm glad its over. As for now, I'll just ease back into solid food, and continue cutting to try to get a defined six pack. I'll probably update this in another couple weeks just to give a heads up to how I'm doing.
Changes I did:
1) Had a can of tuna everyday with 2 on saturday, 100cal (roughly) for 25g of protien (roughly) is a great trade off.
2) Bought flax seed whole and used a coffee grinder to mill it myself.
Note: The coffee grinder didn't seem to mill all the seeds, but by making the shakes in a blender instead of a shaker, the remaining unmilled seeds were almost completely milled.
If you got any other questions or comments feel free to send me a PM. Also my blog for this experiment is in my signiture, although it doesn't have much specific info, more just my moods and whatnot with my workout routine mixed in. (A 3 day full body routine).

lol, I figured I'd try shaving the chest hair off, I think it looks better. And ya, the diet is really extreme, but then again, so are the results.

$600 to lose 18 pounds? What was the point? Also, losing that much weight in that amount of time usually means one thing, water weight. Unless you can quantify the BF loss with measures it's difficult to say what was lost and gained, but with a hypocaloric diet and that much weight loss in such a short time, I would guarantee loss of lean body mass as well. I'm at a loss here, what was the purpose?

Alrighty, well first Painless, it was a couple things.
a) I wasn't that desperate to lose the weight, I was just bored with my routine of my life, and wanted a change, something drastic, and wanted to experiement.
b) While some was water weight, and some probably was some lean mass, I didn't lose any weight in my workout and actually improved on a couple exercises.
kbarius, as for the workout regement go to nutrtion and fatloss forum and its under the velocity diet. Plus, as painless said, there is probably a better way to get an 18lb change in your life.

water weight? Correct me if I am wrong- but losing water weight is associated with glycogen - the less you have the less water you have- so if your on a restricted diet while working out you will deplete your glycogen and you will lose water as a result- temporary- until you restore it. Could be 24 hours to however long your diet lets you.
Lean mass some- but I also see a bunch of fat loss- if you think the body holds water like that....
good job.

cod,
You are correct in that glyocgen is stored 1g /2.7g water in the body. This is exactly why people see significant weight loss on low carb diets in a short period of time. 18 pounds in 22 days is a lot of weight to lose if it was quality weight loss, and if it was fat loss, there would have to be a net loss of 63,000 calories over that period, whether through increased exercise, or through dietary loss. 3500 calories = 1 pound of bodyweight. That's 2863 calories per day of loss, if your assuming that this is quality weight loss. I, for one, find this very difficult to believe. Water weight was far more likely the lionshare of this weight loss, though if it was simply "weight" loss that mattered, then that's immaterial.

umm..not to be a jerk but I don't think you're 7% Bf in the final photo. As others have said above, it's hard not to lose muscle in 22 days.
