what is your diet like now and how are you going to change it? running and pushups are good but you will probably have to modify your diet slightly. also, I have no idea of anyone who's gained significant muscle mass from pushups alone, so you might want to invest in some dumbells or something at the least, for curls and such

What experience do you have with physical fitness? Do you play any sports at school? Do you live at home with your parents, or do you live on your own with very little income for food? Who does the cooking at home?
You can achieve whatever you want to achieve. You just need to put in the right amount of time and effort to allow it to happen.

Haha That cat picture is badass.
Ya i live with my parents and ya my mom dose the cooking.
I dont play any sports at school, Its already to late to start, Next Semester i might take weight lifting.
As for the food thing, its hard as hell to get the right foods because i got 2 sisters and 1 brother, and my moms a little big and my dad all he eats is bread.
So ya when my mom goses shopping its kinda always junkfood and other crap like that.

You should sit down at the table with your mom at the next family dinner and have a serious discussion with her about your food choices. Tell her what your goals are and how you expect to achieve them. Let her know that you're really serious about changing your physique; and in order to do so, you have to eat a healthy diet. Hopefully, if she listens, she will make better food choices for you while she goes shopping for groceries at the supermarket.
If she makes better food choices at the supermarket, you'll be able to eat healthier. Ask her to buy you things like:
- Fruits and vegetables.
- 100% whole wheat bread and oatmeal.
- Milk and eggs.
- Walnuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, or cashews.
- Meat, chicken, and fish.
Also, she shouldn't have to change up her cooking habits too much. She doesn't have to cook you grand gourmet chef dinners, which take hours upon hours of preparation. Mainly some fish, chicken, or meat with some mixed vegetables on the side will do for dinner. You should be able to fix up your own breakfast, lunch, and snacks. For breakfast, cook up some scrambled eggs for yourself. For lunch, fix up a sandwich. For a snack, have some nuts like walnuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, or cashews. To eat healthy, it doesn't take much extra effort or work.
As far as working out, since you don't play sports, do you have a gym near to you? Do you think your parents would help pay for a gym membership for you? Or would you be able to pay for your own gym membership? You should consider joining a gym, because there are a lot of equipment in the gym that are not available in your school. Plus, there are a lot of pretty girls that workout in the gym the same reason you do. To get in shape. You never know, you might meet your next girlfriend at the gym.

Perhaps you should think about getting a small part-time job then. Maybe something on the weekends. Depending on the gym you sign up for, they can either be affordable or really expensive. So if you go with just a basic gym (without signing up for personal training) you would only have to dish out about $20 to $30 per month.
I have two memberships. I pay about $30 a month for my 24 Hour Fitness membership, and $17 a month for my college's recreation center membership.
If you are too busy with school and don't have time for a part-time job, then try to persuade your parents into buying you a gym membership. Tell them that in exchange for a paid gym membership, you'll work on getting good grades this semester. If that doesn't work, then take on more house chores in exchange for a gym membership.
If you're serious about getting fit, you have to be serious about your means of getting fit.

Yeah you're going to need a gym membership.
unless you want to go into old-school boxing training (excluding any punching). I mean look at Muhammed Ali...the guy was never into weight-lifting from what i know.

you dont need a gym membership. if youre properly motivated bodyweight exercises can guide you through your early stages. as far as pushups go the basics are diamond, wide, regular, and dive bomber. google them or start from page 10 of marine corp daily 16. i started by doing just a few of the stretches and exercises during a run and ended up learning them all. take some simple steps and progress naturally

If u do that i assure u u will become an undefined scarecrow with no muscle.
Frm experience, most ppl get leaner when throw all the crap food out of their life w/o even excerising. Throw in some decent program (an program, enen push up and dips) and some good food u can grow muscle (only work for beginner and maybe intermediate)

GIRL ADVICE!
If you can't get your girl while your pudgy you shouldn't be with her at all. Because generally girls that go off of looks are shallow and will end up breaking your heart, but if your cool with that, go for it.
I started dating my girlfriend when I was a bit on the chubby side, about 1 month after I started getting serious about my fitness, and we had a great relationship anyways. She'll see that you're getting fit and thinks its all for her, even if its not, if it isn't DONT TELL HER! i made that mistake. Its the best feeling in the world when you take off your shirt to show off your new ab that popped up and they give you that "I want you, you sexy man, you." look, I don't know but I just about pee my pants everytime she does it.
Shave your belly! Girlies in high school dont like body hair. You may feel like a weirdo at first but she'll love it and eventually you'll love it too. Just think about it like this would you kiss her belly if it was covered in hair? But thats just a tip. You can save it til she says something about it.
And I don't mean to be rude but pull up those pants! girls defanetly don't like seeing what kind or undieroos youre wearing today. Again just a tip.
FITNESS ADVICE
Cardio is definetly where to start just go for a good 30- 1 hour cardio workout per day. And youll start dropping pounds like dead weight. If you can't get a gym membership a good alternative might be a set of dumbbells and a barbell paired with a subscription to Men's Health. They have all kinds of at home workouts in there. In fact your local library might have them so you wouldn't even have to subscribe, just copy them. menshealth.com actually might be an easier option since you are already at a computer :P so yeah look around.
