Conan Stevens. Nerve Injury Recovery. Photos 18 months ago and now
Hi I'm back! Been busy writting then shooting a new action/comedy movie - Bangkok Adrenaline so have not had much time on the net.
Might also be interesting to note that I start shooting "Som Tam" with Baa Ram Ewe Production Studios next week wherein I play an evil mafia guy who eventually confronts and fight Nathan Jones (the big guy at the start of Troy). Awesome.
7 Years Ago - Before The Nerve Injury
18 Months Ago Double Bicep
2 Weeks Ago Double Bicep
18 Months Ago - Standing Relaxed
2 Weeks Ago - Standing Relaxed
18 Months Ago Side Chest
2 Weeks Ago Most Muscular
It's now about 7 years since I first had my nerve injury, I am almost completely recovered - what a crap time it has been and a major setback in my life. Just remember though with will and perseverence you can overcome almost everything.
I believe I am as big now as I was before the injury:
Lat Spread 2000 (pre injury)
Lat Spread 2007 (now)
But you'd think after 7 years I would have learned not to pull faces when I flex.
Nerve Injury Recovery Article
AND I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has written to or encouraged me over the years. Thanks.
Conan.

Looking awesome dude. I don't know if it's the camera/lighting, but you look even tighter and more vascular than in the pre-injury pics. I hope that other people who have had similar injuries will find your article.
Congratulations on the new role! It's clear that you're pouring out the effort to earn them.

You look a lot leaner now than you did back in 2000. Glad to hear you recovered, and looking forward to seeing you in some more action movies.

Yes, now everyone repeat after me Deadlifts, Squats and Bench, Deadlifts, Squats and Bench, Deadlifts, Squats and Bench..... Now go to the gym.
I was not so lean before because I was wrestling and by night working some of the worst (most dangerous) nightclubs in Sydney - I liked the extra padding that the fat gave me, everything hurt less.
Now since I am onscreen it is all about look, a ripped look is more of a 'fighters' look, you look more trained, more professional, and more dangerous.
I wrote the recovery article because I was getting people emailing me asking what happened - there are quite a few people out there suffering the same affliction - apparently according to my Doctor, 1 in a million gets it, usually in one limb, but sometimes in two limbs (either arms or legs). I can just be thankful it only affected one arm, and not say.... both legs.
