Me
OK, well I've posted a bunch of messages, and against my better judgement I feel for the first time ever to post my progress.
I started bodybuilding in the summer of my 24th year, I just turned 31 this year.
When I started I weighed 155 lbs and was 6' tall, with approx 19% bodyfat.
Right now I am bulking (eating about 4/5 K calories a day), and I weight 207lbs and my bodyfat is around 11/12%. I have no issues droping 8-10 lbs easily as I like to think of myself as a hardgainer.
Let me know what you think, the light sucked, and I'm pale as ever.

Way to go, bro! Most of us are pretty pale this time of the year! Are you training for a contest or any other specific reason?

Thanks, nope, just my lifestyle...I think I might try a show next year, see what it is all about. Though I don't think I'm big enough to compete. I thought when I got to 205-210lbs I'd be jacked, but I guess that # is 220? LOL

Great job, and keep up the good progress. Only thing, is that you might want to workout on your calves, I noticed they are a little small, while your upper body is huge, Quads look in proportion.
But great job again! As per the weight, do you drink Cassien with your protien shake at night? That might help assist with keep lean mass. I used to, many years ago used "roids" but for the past 3-4 years I am keeping it all natural.

Looking very good man. Really, once you start cutting, you're going to look super ripped. It was hard to tell from the pics, but I'd try to bring your hamstring development closer to your level of quads development. I have a similar issue with the hammies, so I know that it can be a bit difficult to address. Feel free to post up your routine, too!
You seem big enough to compete, imo. You're closer than me, anyway! Once you cut, I'd think you could do some amateur comps no problem. If you're unsure, try attending some local shows as a spectator. I've been looking for some in the DC area, so if I hear of any coming up, I'll post 'em.

my opinion is you need a little more leg work now. this is just my opinion. it would almost appear your favoring the upper body workouts more then the lower. just some constructive critisism is all.
as far as your last statement about not keeping it on just up more protein and it may be also youve plateued in your workout, mix it up a bit. also in order to get bigger you may be to the stage of your natural abilitys and may be in need of steroids to go beyond. i know i couldnt grow much more past 225 on my own and needed steroids to break past 245. food for thought.

Thanks...
Thanks everyone for the input, very cool.
LOL I think the pics and lighting are off...and being pale doesn't help show muscle either.
A little comment on my quads (not defensive by any means just to give a little history, because I am all about getting bigger legs - in a rush sorry for the mispellings):
When I started 7 years ago I focused on legs because I always read about the benefits of squats and deadlifts. I have for 7 years incorporated both a strenuous leg program as well as calves; I just wonder why they don't get bigger?
I destroy my calves on a weekly basis they just don't f'n grow, it is SO frustrating. I've tried the Muscle and Fitness programs, and such but they just don't grow...
I will admit one thing over the years my main workout for legs was a brutal squat routine, leg extension, and heavy barbell lunges. I thought that is what the recipe was for big legs but I guess not (got a big ass out of it LOL), so I now (yes only in the past 3 months) started to incorporate leg press as my central quad workout.
Is that maybe the key to what I was missing? I just always read "...squats build massive legs..."
For my quads my max on squat was last years and that was 425 - I usually trade off ever 12 weeks, I have done a lot of the typical % of 1RM max type workouts and as well as the 10 by 10 volume stuff.
Again I have changed things up in the past 6 months, and right now (next 6 weeks) I'm doing 10 by 10s on Sunday followed by a 10 by 10 leg press and leg extension 2 days later. But I have over 7 years always done a nasty leg workout once a week, as least; so I'm not sure if it was the fact that I didn't incorporate the leg press.
Squats are my favorite excercise, that and Straightleg deadlifts go figure. As for hamstrings, again I've done STR L DL, Good Mornings and Leg Curls predominately over these years and don't really know of another way to hit them.
Funny thing I always though my upper body needed work...

it may be that your body hs adapted to your workouts and thats why you need to change your workout regimen at least every six weeks. just stating what works for me. even sometimes i'll replace certain excercises with other excercises during that particular six weeks, for instance say im working triceps and i usuall do close grip bench , then skullcrushers, finish with pulldowns. i commonly trade of cable pulldowns for single hand pulldowns and such.
