Hi.

There is nothing much to show off, except for some definition. But for me, who had been fat as a kid, thatīs acceptable. Quality over quantity. ;-)

Stats: 33, 5ī6, 152

You know the strongman contests? Ever tried this one?

YouTube - crucifix hold

Good show. As per the Strongman contests, I think Powerhouse is going for his pro card soon. He has a thread saying this, the stuff I saw he has to do makes my legs shake. . . . I'll go crawl under a rock now. As for the Crucifix hold I have tried it, but couldn't last long with heavy weight, shoulders always give out.

Keep up the good work!

Yep, I see what you mean. Just to read the contest schedule makes oneself feel puny.

Thanks for the compliments. Well, everybody can have nice abs, if one eats clean and does some, hell - ANY exercise with a contraction movement. Thatīs the thing, one doesnīt have to be big to develop a presentable midsection. ;-)

Here are some other snapshots, with better lighting. (Why do b/w pictures always look more aesthetic? Any explanation?)

Lol, yeah I know they're made in the kitchen. I just need something to spice up my current ab routine, crunches, crunches on the ball, and leg raises are getting boring :/ also his obliques look great.. the sides of his body look really muscular, I rarely see people with great abs AND that.

Yep, thatīs perfectly right: diet is the most important part. (Everybody should have read Tom Venutoīs "Burn the Fat , feet the Muscle"!)

As to the obliques: nothing spectacular, really. I simply lie on a bench, fix my feet somehow and do side-crunches (with a little overstrech). I alternate: one day straight abs; on the next, sides. 20 to 30 reps, flex hard. Thatīs all.

Here is a quick new ab exercise: just secure your feet under something, and then put your hands together in like a praying form or even hold a medicine ball, and then twist from left to right and right to left 180 degrees. They are called russian twists. At least that's what I heard and call them. I wish I knew how to post a picture, I would prove I know what I'm talking about...

Hey butch, three years around and you know nothing about uploading? It`s quite simple. Just go to ImageVenue.com - Image Hosting and Image Upload (or any other hosting site) and load up your pics. You`ll get some addresses, which you can copy and post in the forums here.

Concerning exercises: Itīs really nothing new, but I like it anyway. You all know "Rocky IV"? There he performs leglifts (lying straight on the ground, hands locked somewhere over his head) without his hip touching the floor. For most people this is nearly impossible. You can modify it, if you lift your legs as usual, then do a reverse crunch (hip off the ground) and try to lower your legs again as far as you can. Even some partial reps will kill you! Be warned! ;-)

I mentioned that special abs exercise, which will give you a little more than just a burn. ;-)

Here is a short demonstration video, I made - in case you are interested ...

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aCCJM4aHea0&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aCCJM4aHea0&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Hm, that link didn`t work?

Maybe this will:

on my myspace page? lol thanks! Yep- he is pretty impressive, that's why he's only allowed to be mine (so I tell him).

... your abs are fab though, it's obvious you know how to balance your exercises and cardio... most importantly your diet ... I actually have abs tonight, they are always so sore that I have a hard time laying down on the bench press the next day lol...
