Post Winter Bulk Pics
Ok everyone, here are my post bulk pics, my goal was 225 I got to 221.5 lbs. I screwed up and didn't get my bf % afterwards. When I started I was at 12.5 % end of January. I did 12 weeks 4500 calories 40-40-20 for the most part.
I went from around 202 to 221.5. I only did cardio 2x a week for 20 mins. I am normally a hardgainer, but since turning 30 things are becoming easier these days to gain. I just can't believe I put on almost 20 lbs. My goal was to be 225 by 33 at 9% bf, that is 2 years away.
Anyway, sorry fellas for the posing suit pics, but hey it is bodybuilding that is what they are for. I can lift a lot of weight with legs, I do them 2x a week, for some reason they don't grow as well as other things. My quads measure 28" however it seems most of my lower lifting goes straight to my ass. Damn thing gets bigger and bigger. Kind of wish my quads and hams would ugh. Calves are 16.6" Arms were at 18" can't find my #s for the rest at the moment.
Ok so suggestions on my legs? I do heavy full squats, deadlifts, and hack squat mainly. Leg press not as much, and I usually finish with leg extension.
For hams I do Str Leg DL, Hack squats toes at the edge, walking lunge (heavy dbells 80-90lbs, and barbell 185)...????
My legs just don't look huge DRIVES me nuts. Girlfriend is all pissed because I got "too" big...LOL, not sure what women want sometimes.
I'm cutting now, lost 7 lbs within 2 weeks all ready...down to 3500 cal 50 P 20 C and 30 F for macros.
My stats are 6' 213.5 lbs

I really don't think your legs are out of proportion with your upper body. Lookin' good sonny! Keep up the hard work (dieting is the hardest part if you ask me!)

great results. as far as your wanting your ass to not grow any more, changing from ass in the grass squats to as some call cheats! will keep the rear end from getting any bigger.

Great progress, Sonny! The first thing I noticed is that your back is looking huge! Nice proportions between forearms and biceps/tris, too. IMO, your legs (quads in particular) are looking nicely proportional to your upper body. I think that once you cut/condition and the separations become more visible in the quads, you'll be happier with your lower body development, even as the sizes remain almost unchanged.
As far as a the 'ass problem' goes, I think, to a large extent, it's genetic. To put a positive spin on it, all of that extra muscle tissue in the glutes will help burn-off excess calories when you cut!

Thanks man!
Sorry for the delay fellas, just been busy as shit lately. Yeah after cutting now I'm back down to 208 from 223, which is crazy, but whatever. Abs are back and pretty much a solid 8.8% bf right now. Going to the beach this weekend with the GF, for a week of sun and NOTHING. LOL.
Thanks again for the info, I guess now I can start focusing on what it takes to actually compete, maybe make back some of the money I spent on building this body.
If my career will give me a little break with the 60 hour work weeks...ugh

Wow, major props.. Did you change your routine to accomplish this, or keep the regular routine but with the 3500 cals and macros you posted above?

At least it's a career that's requiring so much time, as opposed to a 'job'.
