Well its been around a few months since I found out I have herpes on the penis.But it wasn't from sex though.The doc suspected that I might have caught it from someone in school,quite possibly the boys bathroom.I'm still a virgin,and I just might be one forever thanks to this.I honestly find that sex can be a great part of a relationship.Not the most important,but nonetheless great.But will I ever get the chance to do this?Will I ever get a chance with a girl?

I agree with Bocgam. Lysine is an amino acid; you can take it in a pill which you can buy at your local pharmacy without a prescription it should be in the vitamin section. You should take the pills when you eat. If you are currently drinking protein shakes they have tons of Lysine but there it is incorporated into polypeptides which make up the whey proteins so this may not be metabolized in the same manner as the isolated Lysine you will find in the pill. I get cold sores on my mouth which is a form of the Herpes Virus, since I began to take 1 Lysine pill every morning at breakfast I have not had a cold sore outbreak in about 2 years. I do not know why this works or if this is just placebo effect and I also do not know if this will work for genital herpes as this is a slightly different type of herpes virus. The most important thing to do is to contact your physician and ask him or her.
