That being said, 5.5" isn't small. It's a normal sized penis (I don't say "average" because most men assert that word in a negative tone).

Here's my theory:

Except for the small percentage of women who have been watching way too much porn and/or have been convinced by media hype, most women really truly don't care that much about penis size. Yeah, bigger, fatter will get women off but that doesn't mean that a normal sized dick won't. It's the friction that gets her off (at least as far as the dick goes. There are other ways, very enjoyable to women, to get her off). The size thing is a visual stimulation. That means that not every female gets off on seeing monster sized dicks.

How do I know this? I don't know any of you personally so I can be honest and upfront with you. It's not like I'm going to really be seeing any of you anyhow. But I have to say that what I'm going to tell you doesn't apply to every female. But I think I can say that this applies to probably 99.9% of them.

My wife and I have been married a looooong time. Next year is 25 years. And I'm turning 47 this year so do the math ..... we got married at a very young age. My wife was a virgin when we got married. I have to agree with you chuckg. Over the years I've been party to many a conversation with female friends where men's dick size was the the topic. The general feeling among these women was a large dick can be fun to play with, but it's not what they want as a staple. As a matter of fact, the majority of them felt that the guys with larger dicks didn't know how to use them properly. Their experiances with well endowed males were disappointing because the guys with a monster cock thought all they had to do was show up, pound away like a porn star for a while, and that was all that was required of them to satisfy a woman. From a girls point of view....Sweetheart it dosent matter (this is just my way of thinking) how big you are. Iy matters how you use what you have...There are many more ways to please a girl in bed other than with your "manhood".

Everyone has given some really good advice and shared some good real life experiences. I have to agree with just about everyone.

I've heard that only guys with small penis say that size doesn't matter. I find that very hard, no pun intended, to believe. I work in a Nursing Home....so needless to say I work with a lot of ladies. This topic has been brought up many times. I would have to say 95% of the ladies say they can care less about the size, unless it was really small....like under 4 inches. Some of them have shared stories about guys that small. They always say it is how you use it.
