Need a little advice again

Here it goes on Saturday I met this friend that I haven't seen since 2001 at a halloween party in the conversation he tells he's married and I said congratulations and I asked how long have you known her he said two or three weeks I kinda chuckled to myself and he got realy pissed do you guys think I was out of line for laughing at his mistake.

...I mean, what does someone who does that expect? If you do go out and get married to someone you have known two to three weeks you had better expect leveler heads to chuckle when you tell them. He may be be stupid, but that doesn't you should pretend to be. It's not like you called him a moron or something....he should be able to handle a chuckle.

Considering that this is the first time you have run into each other in 7 years, I wouldn't worry about it. When you see him again in 2015 ask him how his 4th wife is.

Well you are a lot nicer then I am.... i would have told him he made a big mistake.

Your a bigger man for not telling him how you really felt... plus there might be a small part of that knows he made a mistake.

I agree w/ everyone above...what does he expect? sure its not impossible it will work but it sure is a long shot, especially if one half at least of the union is so easily upset.
