I will have to ask some of my friends they too have been in this situations before. This kind of thing is quite common where i'm from. 16 year olds dating 20 somethings. Also i have noticed that when its the other way around and its the boy who's younger and the girl is older there seems to be no problem.

Oh I think there's often plenty of problems when 16 yo boy is going out with a 20 yo woman. It's just the problems are within the relationship and for much the same reasons as your situation, rather than with social expectations of others.
Im going to stay friends with her until she is older as i dont want her education to be ruined. I have always said i would never enter a relationship with anyone under 18. But that was before I met this girl. I am very much in two minds.
