I have a not too serious problem when I run. Whenever I try to slow down , I hit my right ankle bone with the side of the heel of my left shoe. The scrape it makes isn't all that big, but it gets painful after a few thousand meters. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if you did, did you figure a way out of it? I try to concentrate more on my gait, but to no avail. Any ideas?

yo! i do that all the time too. i thought i was just retarded. i stopped it by paying attention to my release. it was always from my right foot, so like i have to pay attention to properly transfering from heel to toe straight through ball of the foot to big toe without peeling my foot off the ground unevenly. have your buddy check out if your feet are pointing in or out when you slow down or if you do something funny with your feet. it's hard to figure it out yourself sometimes.
