Default a question about food and rest

for the past week or so (since sunday) i have been sick and have been doing absolutely no running, and pretty much no moving. how badly is this going to hurt my endurance.

also, is having say a bag of chips, or some candy going to hurt my stamina even a little?

you'll definitely see a little setback, but it shouldn't be anything that you wont be able to recover from quickly. It is always best to rest while you are sick because if you did continue to train you could end up making things worse. About the chips, dont worry about them too much. It's best to eat healthy but a bag of chips or some candy will not make a difference in how you perform. Just don't make a habit of it.

yah im still young i run track and work out on a constant basis, if i want pizza every now and then i will eat pizza. i dont make a habit of it thought. as far as you stamina you will be fine. you might see a little set back but you will recover no problem and your legs will feel well rested so you can but up the intesity a little bit. ill take a week off before track finals start just to refresh my legs.
