there's no active duty rate for this race. but that's okay. the pac nw isn't the most pro military region of the country i've ever been in. taking two friends down from tacoma (ft lewis) to their first race. if you're gonna do like a 3:45 (what i'm projecting for my buddies but might be more like a 3:30) we'll run with you and tell stories. plus if you're a portland native i'd love to hear about the town or whatever, one of my favorite things is meeting new people from all over when i go to races. it's the best way to learn about their town and state etc...
