Default Pose Running?

Hey, anybody try or know of anyone who has tried Pose Running? I've read the book on ChiRunning and this Pose running looks very similar. I haven't grasped the concept of ChiRunning... because it takes a lot to focus on that type form. I image Pose Running will be quite the same focus.

Any thoughts?

I found this website, Fitness with Joe. Joe Sparks who developed this contraption to help with the Pose Running position.

I did a quick search but found nothing about Pose Running on this website.

Default ChiRunning vs. Pose

Dear Runner,

I read your post about the difference between ChiRunning and Pose.

I am a ChiRunning instructor and know a little about Pose (am studying more).

ChiRunning does take a lot of focus. A ton of focus. But that's the point. To concentrate when you are running instead of letting your mind and body drift all over the place.

Over 87% of people that have learned ChiRunning say it has significantly helped their running progress in terms of less running injuries, no pain, and less effort.

Pose is also a good running method. It is more oriented towards speed as it teaches you to engage the leg muscles whereas in ChiRunning we teach you to relax your leg muscles.

So if you want an easy chill out running style learn ChiRunning. For speed...Pose.

Hope that helps.

What is ChiRunning? I haven't heard of that either. Both sound interesting.
