metabolism slowed?
Herro!
I've been doing this diet for about... 3 months perhaps? and sticking to pretty much the same thing the whole time I've been results fest! but I've also been on these hunger surpressants.
I went off the hunger surpressants and to my surprise it wasnt any more difficult to eat the same amount, but i put weight back on!!
you know the place where you put your hands on your hips? that didnt feel soft! and now it does! *sads*
Should i be having high and low carb days? I heard womens metabolisms adjust really fast.
How do i speed him back up? Does cardio do it?
BEGONE I WANT MY ABS IN FULL FORCE GODDAMIT!
Thanks for your helps my friends!

not sure, but it might be time to switch up your diet. Your body gets used to the same things done over time. The same reason your switch your training routine every few weeks, you may need to throw a curveball to your body with a different diet

Brown rice, or my personal fav- quinoa.
that last part may have been a joke, but it did touch on something-a cheat meal/day? Just something to throw things off guard and up your metabolism by throwing a a bunch of bad cals you may not be used to getting may also help shake things up

Either doing some carb cycling or incorporating some refeeds would probably help.

Hey GG,
Another concern is that you are missing some critical nutrition, causing your body to go into a "starvation" mode and hang on to everything it can in the form of a little extra fat. Also, many people gain fat because they are not eating *enough.*
Definitely make sure that:
1. you consume enough food
2. you get your critical nutrients-- the less from supplements, the better. Seek natural foods. This is because many micro-nutrients work together to give you nutrition in a way that supplements cannot yet duplicate (not even close). I know this is challenging-- I saw your other thread on finding a job compatible with a fitness lifestyle. However, you probably have found very effective ways to eat well/exercise, so just tweak it a little. Tons of vegetables!
I hope this helps!

Cool well I've added chicken and brown rice at lunchtime every second day and a cheat cheat for 2 hours on a Sat or Sun and I'm hungrier already! which means my metabolism must be speeding back up right?
Hey do you guys have a problem with grumbling tummies? mine goes "ggrhhhwwmlssslsfrrrmmllll" all day and makes me shuffle in my seat! not to mention its embarrasing! sometimes it feels like you've swallowed a phone on vibrate and someone's calling! haha (I'm not even hungry and I'm eating properly!)

gg, you should never be hungry, you want muscle right or have your goals changed? When ever you are hungry you are basically going to go catabolic especially if you are a leaner person - which you are!
Keep some plain raw almonds on hand (or wait, are you allergic? I know you are allergic to eggs......)
or some grilled chicken extras, so you can much on half a breast. If you are off season you can also use yams or whatever but yeah if you are hungry more often and eating more and noticing this, then yeah, your metabolism is picking up, sounds like you are training regularly?
