Whey and Blends
Whats the difference between Whey on its own and protein blends?
I had a strawberry musashi blend, and it was delicious! and then i ran out, so now I have strawberry musashi whey, and it's less delicous!
Should I assume that the whey has less calories or something? if it's not a blend, does that mean it doesnt do that slow release thing?
if that's the case, why would you want Whey?
 !

whey is digested usually withen an hour or so after consumption versus the blend of proteins designed to release a steady supply of protein up to 6 hours or more even.

The taste is probably different due to the "thickness" of the other proteins. I know my casien vanilla tastes just like pudding but my vanilla whey needs to be mixed with some thing else in the blender to taste good.

Hi, you may also want to consider that the whey protein - whether a blend or not, if it is sold at a place like GNC or Nutrition House - you know, the supplement shops in the mall - you need to know that these whey proteins are one of the lowest grades of whey out there. Whey is graded in levels from 1-7 (7 being the world's best). I am affilliated with a company that has exclusive rights to whey from New Zealand - no hormones in their cattle, the cattle are grass fed with no herbicides or pesticides. Plus, the master formulator does not put any filler in like many other companies do - all natural. Let me know if I can get you some more info.
Cheers!
